Memorial Services for Poor and Homeless People

Several times a week, Rev. Glenda Hope conducts memorial services for people whose deaths would otherwise not receive acknowledgement. Often held in the lobby of an SRO hotel or on the street, these services recognize that every life is precious in the eyes of God and no person should die without a measure of dignity and respect. These services also provide comfort to the friends of the deceased who otherwise would have no formal opportunity to grieve.
